About this event

Metacognition has been found to be one of the most effective and efficient ways to help accelerate learning. But what actually is it? And most importantly, how do we help students develop it in our lessons?

In this online talk, Bradley Busch will discuss the latest research findings and evidence, as well as covering strategies that can be implemented right away.

As a result, you will leave this talk armed with a better understanding of metacognition as well as ideas on what it looks like.

This talk will specifically cover metacognitive strategies that can be implemented before, during, and after learning. Following this Plan, Do, Review cycle helps break down complex research into bitesize and manageable strategies.

The talk will be followed by the opportunity for a live Q&A with Bradley to discuss what you learnt.
