We are delighted to have two amazing educators join us for this session. The first is the incredible Jo Terry- Marchant, Principal of Highlands College, a leader passionate about social justice and equity.
The second is the inspirational Vivienne Porritt, co-founder and Global Strategic Leader of WomenEd. A tireless campaigner for equity, she has been instrumental in building the momentum of WomenEd globally and influencing decision making at the highest levels regarding issues which affect women in education. She was recognised this year in the New Years Honours list with an OBE for her work with WomenEd.
Jo and Vivienne will discuss the barriers facing women in education and how we can address those challenges through action and positive disruption.
Join them as they share their stories of disruption, challenge and change.
This evening will start with a showing of the IWILL #SheInspiresMe talk with Suzanne Wylie over drinks to kick off an amazing evening of inspiration for women in Jersey. A huge thank you, yet again, to Rory Steel at Digital Jersey who has provided a venue and tech support for the evening #HeForShe.
